O'BYRNE, Ann (née O'Toole) (Barna, Co. Galway and formerly Cabinteely, Dublin) September 17, 2018, (peacefully) at University Hospital, Galway, beloved wife of Colm and much loved mother of Dympna, Ciara, Enda and Sheila; sadly missed by her husband, children and their partners, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna today (Thursday) from 5.00 p.m. With Removal to the Church at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 12.0 noon. Cremation Service to follow at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace
O'BYRNE Ann (née O'Toole), (Barna, Co. Galway and formerly Cabinteely, Dublin) - September 17, 2018. On the First Anniversary of her death, Colm her husband and family Dympna, Ciara, Enda and Sheila wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our relatives, friends and neighbours for their support and expressions of sympathy. We thank Ultan for his valiant efforts to revive his beloved Nanna when she collapsed and we pay tribute to the Emergency ambulance services and staff of Galway University Hospital A&E Cardiac Department. We are grateful to all those who travelled to attend the funeral Mass in Barna and the cremation in Dublin and to Fr. Gerry Jennings and Fr. Roddy Curran CSSp. who celebrated the Mass and conducted the cremation service. We thank Dr. Eileen O'Flaherty and Dr. Ray Doyle for their care and attention during Ann's later years. We are grateful to the staff of The Bon Secours Hospital and to Dr. Gordon Pate and the staff at the Galway Clinic. We thank Ann's carer Kathy Tansey for her kindness and help. We are deeply grateful to Audrey Corbett and the Baroque Singers whose music enhanced Ann's Funeral Mass. We are grateful to O'Flaherty Funeral Directors for their help and advice in conducting the funeral arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
