McCARTHY (Shortall) (née Maher) Peggy (formerly of Rathdowney, Co. Laois) - July 9, 2010 at the General Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husbands Sonny and Charlie and son Noel; sadly missed by her daughter May, sisters Sadie and Chris, daughter-in-law Jo, son-in-law Tom, relatives and friends. Many thanks to the staff of Kilminchey Nursing Home, Portlaoise for their loving care over the last 8 years. Rest in peace. Removal from the General Hospital, Portlaoise this (Saturday) evening at 6 o'c to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving at 7 o'c approximately. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 11.30 o'c followed by burial in the local cemetery.
