D'ARCY Frank (Derry), June 7 2017) Frank's family Marie D'Arcy, their children and grandchildren would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We are grateful to all who called to his home, attended his wake and Requiem Mass, brought Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and food gifts. We were deeply touched by all who travelled long distances to the funeral. We would like to thank sincerely the priests who ministered to Frank in his final weeks: Fr John McDevitt and Fr Colm Clerkin as chaplains to Foyle Hospice; and Father Patrick Lagan of St Eugene's Cathedral, who celebrated his Requiem Mass. We are grateful beyond words to the staff of Foyle Hospice, and to the district nurses and carers who looked after Frank in his home with such cheerful and tender devotion throughout his long illness. Our gratitude also goes to all who attended Frank's burial at Glasnevin Cemetery. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
