DUFF, John (Jack) (Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin 11) - December 16, 2014, (peacefully),at home, very beloved husband of Enda and loving brother of Claire, Donnie and the late Desmond; he will be sadly missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. May he rest in peace. Removal from his home tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road arriving at 9.45 o'c for 10.00 o'c Funeral Mass with Cremation afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
DUFF, John (Jack) ex Garda Siochana, died December 16, 2014 late of Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin 11 - I, Jack's wife Enda would like to thank most sincerely relatives, friends, neighbours, Garda colleagues who offered sympathy and support on my recent very sad loss. To those who attended his funeral Mass, telephoned, sent Mass/Sympathy cards and who called to see me, I send my heartfelt thanks. Special thanks to Fr. Colm Kenny P.P. Our Lady of Victories Church, Dr. Robert Scanlon G.P., Ballymun Home Support Team, Palliative Care staff St. Francis Hospice, District Nurses, Larkhill Dispensary, Oncology Team, Mater Private Hospital and Dublin Fire Brigade Service. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, I trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of my appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
