WHELAN, Tim (Carlow and Mitchelstown) - April 7, 2011, in his 81st year, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, at home (17 Sycamore Road, Rathnapish) surrounded by his loving family in the outstanding care of the doctors, home-care and public health nurses; (late of AIB), beloved husband of Noreen (née Galvin) and loving father of John, David, Jane and Tim; grandad to Jack and father-in-law to Erin; he will be deeply mourned by his loving family, brother David, niece Catriona, sisters-in-law Jane f.c.J., Mary f.c.J., brother-in-law Gerard, his wider family and friends. R.I.P. Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow from 9am on Monday April 11, followed by removal at 10.30 o'clock to the Cathedral of the Assumption Carlow for funeral Mass at 11 o'clock Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations if desired at Tim's request to Carlow Vincent de Paul Society.
