ENGLISH, Michael B. (Clontarf, Dublin 3) - On the first anniversary of our deeply loved and very much missed husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and father-in-law, his family, wife Elena with Lorna, Roger, Maria, Georgina and Conor wish to acknowledge and thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us at the time of our sad loss. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to relatives, neighbours and friends both old and new for their kindness and support over Michael's illness. We would like to acknowledge with thanks Prof. Hardiman and her team, the support of the Irish Motor Neuron Association and the Clontarf Medical Centre teams. We are especially grateful to the staff of St Francis Hospice who cared for Michael so respectfully in his final weeks. For this we are eternally grateful. Thank you to all those who called to the hospice, attended the removal, sent letters and cards, signed the book of condolences, gave donations, attended the Funeral Mass and supported us in so many ways. Our sincerest thanks to Fr Pat McManus of St Gabriel's Parish who visited Michael through his illness and also who celebrated the moving Funeral Mass and to Staffords Funeral Undertakers for their care and courtesy. The sheer volume of people who travelled from near and far to attend the Funeral Services is an outstanding tribute to Michael. The Holy Sacrament of Mass has been offered for your intentions.
