O'BRIEN (Clontarf, Dublin) - Seamus's wife Moya, his children Anne, Barry, Derry, Ken, Orlaith, Keelin, Feena and Moya and their families, his brother Tom and sisters Kitty and Joan and their extended families wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised and supported us in our sad loss on June 1, 2005 of a dearly loved and sadly missed husband, father and brother. Our sincere gratitude to all who called to his home, attended his removal, funeral Mass and burial and especially those who travelled long distances to be with us. He would have been delighted to see you all. Our thanks to those who telephoned, sent letters of sympathy, Mass Cards, floral tributes and those who donated to St Vincent de Paul in his memory. A special word of thanks to the nurses of St Mary's Ward, Beaumont Hospital for their loving care of Seamus during his final illness. We wish to express our deep appreciation to our dear friend Fr Pat Collins for officiating at the religious ceremonies and to him; Fr Gabriel Slattery and Fr Michael Hastings P.P. for their concelebration of Seamus's funeral Mass. Our thanks to Kirwan Funeral Directors, Fairview, Dublin for their sympathetic attention to detail; their professionalism at this difficult time was appreciated. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation to you all. Your kindness will be forever remembered. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
