THORNTON, Marie (née Brady), after a long illness bravely borne, Marie succumbed to breast cancer on April 20, 2016. Survived by husband Alan, children Maurice (Marie-Hélène), Naomi (Andrew), Robert (Samantha), sister Ann (Albert), brother Tomas, sister-in-law Dolores, her nieces, nephews and a wonderful circle of friends both in Ireland and Canada. In the final years of her life, Marie derived great pleasure from the time spent with her three grandchildren, James, Luisa and Olivia. Although she is now at rest, we will continue to hold her close, as we ask you to do. She will be with us all as we continue to move through life, celebrating each milestone with her in our hearts.
