JOYCE (née Mellotte) Dr. Mona, Kilderry Lodge, Gort, Co. Galway. Died January 18, 2012 (First Anniversary) - As we remember Mona on her first anniversary, her husband Paddy, children John, Anne, Richard, Mona, Louise, Elizabeth, Susan and extended family would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their bereavement. We would like to acknowledge and express our warmest appreciation for your attendance, Mass cards, letters of sympathy and your donations to Galway Hospice. Thank you to Lucimere, Mary, Rosa and Aileen, who cared for Mona so lovingly in her latter years. Thank you to Dr. Deirdre Mullane and the excellent nursing staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway. Thank you to Fr. Tommy Marrinan for your pastoral care to Mona and your co-celebrants for a beautiful ceremony. Thank you to the Gort Choir conducted by Rosemary Lahiffe, and to Sean O'Healy and tenor Frank Naughton, for enriching the Mass with such beautiful music. We are indebted to our wonderful neighbours and friends who took care of the lighting, traffic management, stewarding and catering. We will always be grateful to you for your support and kindness. Your guard of honour at her home was very moving. We thank Hilary and Mary Lee for their kindness to Mona over the years. Our thanks to Patricia, Maresa and John Lally for all your help. Thanks to Sean Mullins funeral director for his courtesy and professionalism and to the gravediggers who prepared Mona's final resting place. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. Mona's Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 19th, in St. Colmans Church, Gort at 5pm.
