Riding Heavenly Roads

Grant, always known as “Foxy” to his many many friends in RospaSmart (UK Advanced Motorcycling Group), will be remembered as a great, warm character. Foxy used to join us for our 4 day motorbiking trips to the Ardennes every year. We gained from his presence and are the poorer for his untimely loss. He managed to be very much “part of the crew”, even though we only saw him a couple of times each year. Everyone has their favourite ‘Foxy’ story and no doubt they will continue to be told and re-told for many years to come in celebration of a great guy.

I’ll miss Grant and his hallmark traits; he was always enthusiastic, optimistic, irrepressible and energised. He added a great bit of colour and a lot of life to our get-togethers. May he rest in peace, although, that said, I actually prefer to imagine him riding Heavenly roads on a brand-new K1300GT forever!
