A smile on the corridor

Dear Agnes, Eva & Grace,

I'm very sorry to hear of Donal's passing. I worked with him in IBEC and always enjoyed his quick wit, wry smile and laughter when we'd meet. He was held in extremely high regard by all who knew him.

Best wishes,

Desmond O'Dowd

An old friend

I knew Donal in the early '80s when we were both in 4th Biochem in UCC. We lost touch after 1985, but I've always remembered the good times I had with him and his friends. He was genuine, smart, and funny, and was liked by everyone who knew him. With his going a part of my past has gone. My sincere condolences to his wife, children, and extended family.

George Allan (New Jersey, USA)
