Thank You for always seeing the good in pupils

You were a strong inspirational person in my life. You always saw the positive. You taught me so much about all that is good. You helped me to focus on the good instead of concentrating on my defects. You made some hard days bearable. Rest In Peace. You were always a Lady. Thank you

Youthful of spirit and aged of wisdom

I remember Miss Golden as a true lady. With a firm but fair hand on the tiller of the Alex girls, we had enormous respect for her as our vice principal, our teacher, our advocate and our friend. The respect we showed her was both earned and a lesson in itself. It is rare to find such obeisance between a boisterous plethora of teenagers and a senior member of staff. She was youthful of spirit and aged of wisdom. My sincerest sympathies to her family and all of those who mourn her.

Yasmin Oxford

(Alexandra College 1978 - 1982)

Fondest memories

I have only the fondest memories of Miss Golden. She was a beautiful lady, full of character and fun, yet strict when appropriate. Even when chastising, she always managed to leave a persons dignity intact. It was a privilege to have known her and to have been taught by her. Sara
