FEATHERSTONE Nora (formerly Healy) (Bray, Co. Wicklow) - May 29, 2013, (peacefully), in her 92nd year, at Kinvara House Nursing Home, Bray, surrounded by her family. Devoted wife of the late Rowland Healy and the late Desmond Featherstone, much loved mother of Elisabeth O. P., John, Susan, Geoffrey and Michael, cherished mother-in-law of Yvonne, Anne and Caroline, loving grandmother of Kyle, David, Jonathan, Ben, David and Sarah. A treasured member of Christ Church, Bray, she will be sorely missed by her family, relatives, friends and the staff of Kinvara House who gave her such loving care. A gathering of family and friends will take place on this (Friday) evening at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral Service of Thanksgiving tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 o'clock in Christ Church, Church Road, Bray followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, Little Bray.

Nora's family wish to thank all those who attended her funeral on June 1, and also those who sent messages, for their sympathy, prayers and support. We are grateful to Rev Baden Stanley for presiding over such a wonderful send-off for our mother and Rev David Godfrey for participating in it. We also thank organist John Morris, the choir of Christ Church, and Hilary Salmon and her team for the beautiful floral arrangements. We pay tribute to the management and staff of Kinvara House Nursing Home for their devoted care of Nora over the past three years, and to Dr Des Connolly and Professor Rose Anne Kenny for their expert medical assistance.
