McDERMOTT Brian MVB MRCVS (Pearse Road, Sligo) - May 5, 2013 (peacefully) in the loving care of his family after a short illness. Beloved husband of Miriam and loving father of Shane, Brian, Miriam, Gillian, Cora, Grainne and Gordon. Deeply regretted by his sons-in-law Cyril, Michael and Niall, daughters-in-law Sue, Gráinne and Eithne and his adored grandchildren. Rest in Peace. Remains will be reposing at his residence from 12 noon today Monday until 8pm and from 4pm tomorrow, Tuesday until 8pm. House private thereafter. Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
McDERMOTT Brian, MRCVS, MVB. Died May 5, 2013. On the First Anniversary of his death, Miriam his beloved wife and family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who called to our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. To our relatives, neighbours, friends and clients thank you. A special thank you to the medical staff of ICU Sligo Regional Hospital. Thanks to Fr. Dominick Gillooly for conducting the funeral ceremonies, Bishop Christy Jones and all the clergy who con-celebrated the funeral Mass. A special thank you to the Co. Sligo Golf Club Male Voice Choir who sang at the Mass, to the undertakers, and all those who carried the coffin. As a token of our appreciation the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10.00am in St Anne's Church, Sligo.
