EARL Wesley (Wes) Rathfarnham, Dublin (died November 26, 2009). Dearly loved and greatly missed. Wes's wife Joanne Hayes, his sons Patrick and Wesley, his parents Derek and Carmel, his brother David, his parents-in-law Michael and Kate and his brothers-in-law Stephen and John would like to thank all those who attended his funeral, sent such beautiful letters and cards and gave so generously of their time during this sad and difficult period. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion shown to us. Thank you to Rev Ian Gallagher, Fr Eugene McCarthy, Fr Colm McGlynn, Rev Ruth Elmes, Eimear Daly and the choir from St Brigid's Stillorgan for helping us celebrate Wes's life so beautifully. Our thanks also to Wes's GP, Dr Tim Gleeson, and the fantastic medical teams in St Vincent's Private Hospital and Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Thank you to Dr Tom Darcy and the wonderful staff in The Coombe Maternity Hospital for their sensitivity and professionalism surrounding the delivery of baby Wesley ("Pod"!) on December 15, 2009. Unfortunately, it would not be possible to thank all of you individually and we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. Please remember our beloved Wes with joy on this, the eve of his birthday. He would have been 31.
