RODGERS David John (Dublin), August 1, 2016, (suddenly) at home; beloved husband and best friend of Ning, cherished son of Gwen and Terry, much loved brother of Allen; loved and remembered always by his family, sister-in-law Karen, nieces Katie and Jessica, his family and friends in China and his many, many friends, particularly those in Y.M. Cricket Club, Leinster rugby circles and his colleagues in Irish Cement. Funeral Service on Saturday (August 6) at 11.00 o'clock in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, please.

Heartbreakin​g. Speaking at my friend's funeral was the hardest thing I've ever done but it brought back all the great times we shared together since we were kids. God Bless Dave and love always to Gwen, Terry, Al, Ning et al.
