CARTER (Cregg, Rosses Point, Sligo) September 3, 2015 at home with his family. Michael J. (Joe) father of the late baby John. Beloved husband of Máire (née Dinneen) and dear father of Eithne (Davis), Fionnuala and Eoin, grandfather of Ruairí and Aisling Davis, brother of Margaret Roche, Francis, Mary Higgins, Pactrick and Noel also sadly missed by his son-in-law Ciaráin Davis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence this (Friday) evening from 4.00pm to 8.00pm and tomorrow (Saturday) from 2.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Columba's Church, Rosses Point on Sunday morning for 11.00am Mass with burial afterwards in Rosses Point Cemetery. House private on Sunday morning. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society or the North West Hospice are of Foley and McGowan's Funeral Home, Sligo.

Máire, Eithne, Fionnuala, Eoin, and the extended family wish to express our gratitude to all the dedicated medical personnel who cared for Joe, his understanding colleagues and associates, the friends and neighbours who gave support during his illness, at the time of his death, and during the past year. Joe will always be remembered for his caring wisdom and his loving good humour. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
