O'CONNOR (Monivea Road, Galway, formerly Ballycastle, Co. Mayo and retired O.P.W.) - April 30, 2013, (peacefully) at home after a short illness; John, beloved husband of the late Mai, and much loved father of Dermot, Kevin, Fergus, Geraldine, Gabrielle, Yvonne, Deirdre and the late Eugene and Seán. Sadly missed by his sons and daughters, brothers Gerard and Willie, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing at the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue today (Thursday) from 6.30 o'c with Removal at 8.30 o'c to the adjoining Church. Funeral after 12.30 o'c Requiem Mass tomorrow (Friday) to the New Cemetery, Bohermore. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis"
