FERGUSON, Ashtown Grove Navan Road Dublin 7 - March 26, 2013. Peacefully at home. Una, dearly loved daughter of Vera and the late (Gda) Liam Ferguson. Deeply regretted by her loving mother Vera, sister Christine Ferguson Godley, brother Kieran (Clonakilty), sister-in-law Fiona, brother-in-law Richard, beloved nephew and nieces Matthew, Anna and Ciara, extended family, friends and colleagues. Removal tomorrow, Thursday from her home to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Navan Road, Dublin 7 for funeral service at 11am, followed thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium. No flower bouquets please, just a single colourful flower, preferably a daffodil. Donations if desired to the wonderful St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown and the Irish Cancer Society Daffodil Nurses who were so dedicated and supportive to Una and family.
FERGUSON - Una, Ashtown Grove, Navan Rd, Dublin 7 - On the First Anniversary of Una's death her mother Vera, sister Christine and brother Kieran, brother-in-law Richard Godley and sister-in-law Fiona, nephew Matthew and nieces Anna, Ciara and the extended family would like to thank all those who supported and sympathised with us at her funeral and to those who sent us Mass cards, e-mails, letters of sympathy, those who called to the house and to all our kind neighbours and friends and to all Una's ex colleagues and pupils in Castleknock Educate together and NSO who were such a comfort to Una during her illness. We particularly would like to thank Fr. John Moran C.C. Navan Rd, Fr Michael Ross and Fr PJ Healy who officiated at the funeral also her friends Ellen Cranitch and Dympna O'Byrne for their beautiful music. To the St. Francis Hospice team for their loving support during the final weeks and to the wonderful "Daffodil Nurses" who attended her at night with such love and dignity - a very special thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this Acknowledgement will be accepted. Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.May she Rest in Peace.
