O'DONNELL (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and late of R.T.E.) - September 3, 2015, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff at St. Colman's Hospital, Rathdrum, Alistair (Al), Folk Singer beloved husband of June; he will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, children Ruán, Conor and Melissa, daughters-in-law Maeve and Kelli, son-in-law Peter, grandchildren, brother Fran, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. May He Rest In Peace. Reposing at Patrick O'Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Ormond Centre, Victoria Road, Greystones. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Greystones arriving at 9 50 o'clock. Funeral immediately after 10 o'clock Requiem Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society. Donation box at rear of Church.

I have very fond memories of Al singing in the Abbey Tavern, Howth in the 60s. I loved him singing 'Bunclody'. May he rest in peace. Rosemary
