MacDONALD, Ellen Mary, Trim, Co. Meath (Died October 22, 2008) - Ellen's husband Philip and family Ian, Susan, Baron, Sarah and Stewart, her mother Joan, her brothers Tadhg and Cormac and extended family, would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on our heartfelt loss. We thank especially all those who attended the removal, Requiem Mass and at Mount Jerome. Thank you to our very kind neighbours and to the many people who sent flowers, Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters of condolence. Sincerest thanks also to those who donated to the Night Nurse programme. Special thanks to Fr. Andy Farrell P.P. Trim, who officiated at the removal and the funeral Mass. Thanks to organist Miriam Mooney for the music, soloist Teresa Carley for her beautiful singing during the Mass and to our grandson who played the violin at the end of the Mass. We wish to express our gratitude to the consultants, doctors, nurses and staff at James Connelly Memorial, Mater, Beaumont and Bon Secour hospitals, who showed Ellen compassion and loving care during her illness. Heartfelt thanks to all those who cared for Ellen locally, Dr McEntee, nurses, palliative care and staff at Trim Healthcare Clinic, also O'Shaughnessy's Pharmacy. Thank you to Aidan Heffernan and Niall Mulligan (Funeral Directors) for their personal attention to all the funeral arrangements. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at St Patrick's Church, Trim.
