MADDEN, Aodhan (Porterstown, Dublin 15 and late of the Evening Press and Colaiste Dhulaigh, Member of Aosdana) - January 1, 2015 (suddenly at his home) son of the late James and Tess Madden (North Circular Road, Dublin 7) and brother of Carmel (O'Sullivan), Sheelagh (Staunton), James, Pat and the late Vincent and Fr. Billy. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace. Removal from Bourke's Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 on Monday morning to the Church of The Holy Family, Aughrim Street arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 o/c. Burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery.
MADDEN Aodhan (died January 1, 2015) - On the First Anniversary of Aodhan's death, we, his sisters Carmel and Sheelagh and brothers James and Paddy, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and attended the funeral, sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. A special thanks to his good neighbours in Portersgate, the staff and students of Coláiste Dhúlaigh and all his former colleagues in the Irish Press who regaled us with stories of Aodhan in times past. Please accept our appreciation.
