Sincere Sympathy on the passing of a true gentleman

Dear Ann, Nick, Hubi and Suzanne

I am so sorry to hear of Bela's passing - he truly was a gentleman. We so enjoyed him and Nick and Hubi being part of the shooting party in our house in Ballineen. My father, Finbarr, had great time for him, particularly when he was in London in 1987 for some very complicated surgery and Bela was one of his much treasured visitors. Latterly when Bela was in Budapest and I was there for work in 1997, we met up and enjoyed a few drinks watching the Autumn series rugby in 1997, enjoyed coffee and torte at Gerbaud, as well as dinner with Nick and Kitty - at a really wonderful restaurant. Bela had a great pride in Budapest, and as a visitor to the city guided me to the best of the city. I have fond memories of Bela and will always remember him sitting at our kitchen table after a days shooting drinking black coffee and falling into the chat about birds missed and birds bagged. I sincerely sympathise with you at this time and wish I could attend the funeral tomorrow. Elizabeth Noonan
