Many thanks also to those who travelled long distances to attend. We would like to acknowledge the huge generosity of our neighbours, friends and extended family who supported us over the last few months of Bernard's life, who contributed food and helped with the catering at the house. A special word of thanks to Fr. Jim Fegan for arranging a very special funeral Mass and to Bishop Brennan, Fr. Aidan Jones, Fr. Paddy Browne, Fr. Barry French and Fr. Aodhán Marken for presiding. A very sincere thank you to Cyril and Liz Murphy for their gift of music in bringing together the beautiful and meaningful music for the Requiem Mass and to Helen Gaynor and the Rowe Street Choir for their beautiful singing on the day. Many thanks to Dermot O'Neill for the very sincere eulogy he delivered. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of Waterford and Wexford General Hospital, in particular the nurses of St Patrick's Ward, Wexford General for their never-ending dedication to Bernard. Thanks to Mackens Funeral Home, the gravediggers and the altar boys. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
