HUGHES Oliver, July 31, 2016, (suddenly at home)- Beloved husband of Helen, devoted father of Elliot and Holly and precious son of the late Brian and Lillian. Will be sorely missed by his family, cousins, in-laws and many friends. There will be a Celebration of Oliver's life in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham today (Thursday, August 4) commencing at 12.00 noon. No flowers.

He was a lovely man, a great innovator.. And terrific in his efforts to imprive Dublin in Temple Bar and later Dingle. Lunched with him only last week, laughter rang to the roof. I shall, like many, greatly miss him. Ciarán MacGonigal
