RYAN (Tallaght and formerly of Greenhills) - September 10, 2013, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Denis in his 95th year, beloved husband of the late Vera recently deceased on August 28, 2013 and dear father of Denis, Richard, Mary, and Eamonn; sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends at Newlands Golf Club and colleagues in the HSE. EI8HM. Reposing at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Removal today (Thursday) to St Killian's Church, Kingswood arriving for 10.00 o'c Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. <p>Rest in Peace Denis</p> I meet Denis on Echo Link (Ham Radio) in 2003 when my wife and daughter were planning a trip to Ireland. Denis assured me they would have a great time and even provided names of places to see. They did have a wonderful time! Denis and I spoke several other times on Echo Link over the years. I would always check to see if he was on. From our conversations I learned that Denis was a TRUE gentleman, loving husband and father. He often spoke of your mother and I could tell they were very much in love. Today I found the notice that he has passed away and the your mother passed away shortly before. I am so very sorry for your great loss. Your Mom and Dad are together again, happy and healthy. I will miss our conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
