McGOVERN Rev Fr Patrick, Society of African Missions (SMA) (late of Bawnboy and Swanlinbar, Co Cavan) - June 4, 2015, peacefully and unexpectedly, at the Society of African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork. Predeceased by his brothers Fr Gregory SMA and John. Deeply regretted by his brother Bernard Michael, sisters Eileen and Rita, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sister-in-law, relatives and a wide circle of friends, his confreres in the Society of African Missions and people of Ibadan Archdiocese and Ilorin diocese, Nigeria and Elphin Diocese, Ireland. Reposing at the African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork from 2pm to 5pm tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. Prayers at 7pm on Sunday, June 7, followed by removal to St Joseph's SMA Parish Church, Wilton. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Monday, June 8, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. May he rest in peace.
