KAVANAGH (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - April 25, 2014. Peacefully, surrounded by his family after a short illness and in the compassionate care of the staff of St Ann's ward, St Vincent's University Hospital. Jack, devoted and loving husband of Ann, father and granddad. Devoted brother of Paddy, Noel, Oonagh (Fitzsimons) and the late Jim. Sadly missed by his beloved wife, sons Mark and John Paul, daughters Karen and Joanna, sons-in-law Bobby and Gavin, adored grandchildren, Matthew, Grace and Lauren, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing this (Monday) afternoon in Carnegies Funeral Home, 19 The Crescent, Monkstown from 4pm to 6pm prior to his removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to St Patrick's Church, Monkstown arriving for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please.'Forever in our hearts'.

KAVANAGH Jack (Monkstown), died April 25, 2014. Beloved and greatly missed by wife Ann and children Karen, Joanna, Mark, John-Paul. We wish to thank all those who supported us at the time of our sad loss. We appreciate the large attendance at his funeral Mass and are grateful for the many cards, letters and messages of sympathy received and the continuing support from our neighbours, friends and extended family. Special thanks to Fr. Michael Coady, the doctors and nurses of St. Anne's Ward, St. Vincent's Hospital who cared for Jack during his illness. As we have been unable to thank many of you individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as recognition of our appreciation. We all remember Jack with love - his Anniversary Mass will take place tomorrow, Sunday, April 26 at 12.00pm in St. Patrick's Church, Monkstown.Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal,
love leaves a memory
no one can steal.
