HOLT, Eddie (Balcarraig, Donabate) Journalist and retired lecturer, Dublin City University - June 23, 2015, following a lengthy battle with Progressive Supranclear Palsy (PSP), in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital, beloved husband of Dympna and loving father of Joe; sadly missed by his sister Theresa, her husband Michael and the Campbell family, the Cullen family and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords this (Wednesday) afternoon from 2 o'clock Removal on Friday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Donabate, arriving for 10 o'clock Mass, followed by Funeral to Glasnevin Crematorium. Donations if desired to PSPA Ireland.

On the First Anniversary of Eddie's death his wife Dympna, son Joe and sister Theresa (Campbell) would like to thank our families, friends and colleagues for their loving support during Eddie's illness, at the time of his death and throughout the last year. Our thanks to Dr Colin Doherty and consultants and staff at the Mater ICU and Beaumont Hospitals. We are very grateful for the care given to Eddie by staff at the Burns Unit, St James Hospital. Our thanks to the Concelebrants of Eddie's Requiem Mass in Donabate and to all who participated in so many different ways. We deeply appreciate the many messages of sympathy."Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann"
