GRIFFIN Lt. Col. Jack. Late of Mayfield, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Died tragically following an accident on October 31, 2015 - Jack's loving wife Trisha, adoring daughters Laragh, Isabelle and Emma Mai, brother and sisters together with the extended Griffin and Molony families wish to offer their sincere thanks to everyone who helped, supported and sympathised with them during their recent tragic bereavement Thank you to all who travelled long distances to be with us, those who called to the house, and attended the funeral Mass. To those who brought gifts, sent cards and messages of sympathy and floral tributes. A sincere thanks to our wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends for your help and support during these difficult times. To those who kindly provided refreshments and those who served them giving so generously of their time. A special word of thanks to the emergency services An Garda Siochána and staff at St. Joseph's Hospital Clonmel who tended to Jack. We extend our gratitude to Fr. Martin Hayes, Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly, Fr. Seamus Madigan (Army Chaplain) and the many Co-Celebrants for their thoughtful preparation and meaningful requiem Mass. Thank you to those who helped with all the preparations for Jacks mass, to the church singers whose beautiful music further enriched the mass and a special word of thanks to Jacks friends and colleagues Caimin and Kieran for their fitting tribute to Jack. Our sincere thanks to Michael Doyle Funeral Director for his professionalism, kindness and attention to detail in the preparation of the funeral. To Jack's beloved Thurles Sarsfields G.A.A. Club and the staff and pupils of the Presentation Primary School, we thank you sincerely for your respectful Guards of Honour. Finally, our heartfelt appreciation to the Defence Minister Mr. Simon Coveney, Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Mark Mellet, Jack's Defence forces colleagues especially the 63rd Cadet Class for the fitting tribute they paid to Jack over the course of the funeral. The support and generosity we received from our family, friends and local Community was overwhelming and provided great comfort to us as a family. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Jack's Months Mind Mass will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption Thurles on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 5pm.
