D'ARCY (Lower Newcastle, Galway) August 10, 2010 (peacefully) after a brief illness at Galway University Hospital. Tom (retired Galway Co. Council); dearly beloved husband of Patricia and much loved father of David. Deeply mourned by his loving wife and son, brother Padraic, sisters Rae, Cepta and Nuala, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at home tomorrow (Friday) from 5.30 o'c to 7.30 o'clock House Private thereafter. Removal to Galway Cathedral on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore. Family flowers only please.'I Líonta Dé go gcastar sinn'

We knew Tom and Patricia very well when we were all students at UCG and have very pleasant memories of the fun times that we shared then. We were fortunate to meet them again several times in recent years</p> <p>Tom had a great gift for friendship and he was greatly appreciated for his happy demeanour and welcoming personality.</p> <p>Sincere condolences to Patricia and David.</p> <p>Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam macánta.</p>
