TORMEY, Rev. James (Jim) Tormey CC Church of the Apostles, Ballybrack (Died March 7, 2012) - James' brothers and sisters Michael, Sue, Joan, Simon and Phil extend our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on James' death. We sincerely thank all those who sent Mass cards and letters of condolence. Those who travelled to be with us for the removal and Requiem Mass. We especially thank His Grace Archbishop Diarmuid Martin for conducting the service for the removal of James' remains and his kind words and we also thank Bishop Eamonn Walsh for his attendance. We express our sincere gratitude to Fr. Eugene Kennedy for celebrating the Requiem Mass and to James' classmates and the priests of the Dublin Diocese, The Columban Priests and the Clergy who attended the removal and concelebrated the Requiem Mass. We especially thank Fr. Alex Conlan and the Ballybrack Parish for arranging and facilitating the ceremonies and allowing James be interred in the grounds of the Parish Church, SS Alphonsus & Columba. A special word of thanks to all James' friends from the many parishes in which he served over the years, we are most appreciative of the love and support given him throughout his life. To his friends at the "Forty Foot" who played such an important part in his life sincere thanks. Heartfelt thanks to Fr. Maurice O'Shea for daily Communion, to Dr. Thecla Finan and all at the Park Medical Centre for their special attention and care and to St. Francis Hospice nurses, HSE nurses and carer Ola and the Irish Cancer Society night nurses who cared for James in his final days. It is not possible to thank everyone individually therefore please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for all.
