O'FARRELL (née McNamee), Joy (Brewery Road, Stillorgan and formerly of Skerries) - December 31, 2014, (peacefully), in the excellent care in recent weeks of Belmont Nursing Home, surrounded by her children. Beloved wife of the late Brendan, and dearly loved and wonderful mother of Anne, Orlagh, John, Aislinn, Jane and Paul. She will be sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her loving sisters Pearl (McNamee) and Bernie (Pilkington), her sixteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews who loved and admired her and all her relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum today (Saturday) from 2.30 o'c to 5.00 o'clock Removal on Monday to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock for 11.30 o'clock Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Dean's Grange Cemetery.

<p>To the O'Farrell family</p> <p>On behalf of the McGowan-Smyth family formerly of 8 Old Brewery Road, may I offer our sincere condolences to the O'Farrell family. Joy was such a kind lady and was very good to my two brothers and me when we were children when our mother was ill. She gave unstintingly to us with a great generosity of spirit.
