MANNING, Dermot Francis (Dan) (late of Clontarf, Hong Kong and Kircubbin) - Dan's wife, Bernadette, children Clara and Daniel, and family would like to thank most sincerely, all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss, all those who attended the funeral Mass, sent Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes, donated to Cancer Research and who called to the house. A special word of thanks to Father Neeson for celebrating the funeral Mass and for his prayers and words of comfort. Also to Father John McManus for his kindness and support. To organist Maura Lipfird and soloists Cathy McGrattan and Pauline McCarthy for their beautiful musical accompaniment at Dan's funeral Mass. Thanks also to the Marie Curie Centre, Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre and Joanne Toner, Community Nurse, for all their compassion and encouragement during Dan's short illness. Thanks to the staff at Paul Arthurs Restaurant for providing the refreshments after the committal and to John Smith Funeral Directors, for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Trusting that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. Dan's Month's Mind will be celebrated in Mount St Joseph's, Ballycran, at 11.00 a.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
