Catherine Daly loyal Employee of Clayton Bennett

Clayton was my Managing Director in Dublin over 25 years ago. What can I say - he was an amazing man, husband to Mary, father to his children and a wonderful boss and friend to me during my time working with him. I was heartbroken to hear of his death in 2012 for myself but also to Mary, Brodie, Emily and Harry who I knew. I think of Clayton often and today the 14th of July my mam's 89th birthday, I am thinking of you Clayton fondly and know you are in looking down on us all and smiling. Love and miss you, and my thoughts are with Mary and family today. Katie Daly xxxx

Dr Clayton Bennett

I knew Clayton in the mid 1980s when his company with Tate & Lyle rented laboratory space from us at Swords Laboratories (now incorporated into Bristol Myers Squibb) to produce a sweetener product. He was a gentleman, and I can honestly say that I cannot think of one bad thing to say about him, a rarity where multinational executives are concerned, but it is the truth. Rest in Peace Clayton, on the other side of the world from your native New Zealand. My condolences to his family.

Barry Pickup

Dublin 13
