O'HALLORAN James Patrick - November 9, 2010 passed away suddenly at home in Wilton. Jim was born March 6, 1931 in Limerick, Ireland and was a resident of Wilton for the past thirty years. A loving husband and father, he was an avid book collector, longtime member and former council member of the Grolier Club of New York. Jim worked for Exxon for many years in the Middle East, US, Europe and Canada. Those who knew him well will know of his many accomplishments. Survivors include his wife, Gabrielle and sons, Lawrence and James, Jim was predeceased by son, Patrick in 2006. A memorial Mass was held November 17 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Wilton, CT. Interment was private. Memorial contributions in Mr. O'Halloran's name may be made to the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 234 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897. <p>A master of the game</p> <p>Commiseration to Gabrielle on Jim's death.I have hearty memories of times shared during the Revolution in Libya.He was a brilliant racconteur and was deservedly a legend We, Wilma and I lost touch in 1970 but even after this long time he is remembered with warmth<br />If possible we would like an update on this unforgettable person</p>
