CUMMINS (née Kelly) (Sandycove, Co. Dublin) - March 24, 2015 unexpectedly, Brigid (B), beloved wife of Derry, loving mother of Ruth, Fred, Michael, Thomas and the late Johnny. Very sadly missed by her husband, children and their partners, 14 grandchildren, her bothers Pat and Fr. Matt, extended family and many friends. Reposing tomorrow, Friday in Quinn's of Glasthule from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Saturday to St. Joseph's Church, Glasthule arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery."May she rest in peace."

<p>Doc</p> <p>I am so very sorry to hear about the death of Dr. Cummins - Doc as we all called her in Glengara - she was one of the most influential people in my life and the reason why I am in science today. She was wonderfully patient and truly inspiring. She was the one person I really wanted to share the news of my PhD with and true to her wonderful nature she sent be a congratulations card addressing me as Doc.
