RENNISON, Henry Hamilton

RENNISON, Henry Hamilton (Harry) - February 9, 2016, after a gentle decline, in his 100th year, beloved husband of the late Flo (née Roffey, died 2004), dear father of Deirdre Rennison Kunz and father-in-law of Michael Kunz; cherished grandfather of Barra and Fiach; fond brother of the late Patrick and Brian and admired uncle of his Rennison and Roffey nephews and nieces in the UK, Canada and the US. His family give thanks to many: for the lengthy and compassionate care given by Eric and Gavin and the team at Be Independent Home Care; for the love of his friends and wider family circle; for the kindness and support over many years from his friends in the Fellowship and in Probus, Dun Laoghaire; and for friendships made over many decades of his working life as a petroleum geologist in Burma, India, Pakistan and Algeria, and subsequently in Dublin as a director of Conroy Petroleum and Conroy Gold & Natural Resources. In keeping with his pragmatism, Harry has donated his remains to the Medical School, Trinity College Dublin. Details of a celebration of his life will be announced later.
