COLLINS (née Lowry) (Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge and formerly of Shandon Park, Phibsboro, Dublin 7) - March 24, 2015 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Elm Hall, Ethna (in her 96th year), beloved wife of the late Des and dear mother of Brian, Sheila (Rand), Ronan, Mary (Purcell), Michael and Mark and a devoted grandmother to her nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Peter and Jim, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Woody, Mary and Alice, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Sheila and Peter's residence this (Wednesday) evening from 6.00 o'c to 8.00 o'c with removal to St. Peter's Church, Phibsboro tomorrow (Thursday) morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30 O'Clock followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the St. Vincent De Paul.

COLLINS Ethna (1919-2015) - On this the First Anniversary of Mam's death we her children Brian, Sheila (Rand), Ronan, Mary (Purcell), Michael and Mark, her extended family including her nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, would like to offer our sincere appreciation to all who offered expressions of sympathy. To those who called to Sheila and Peter's home and the many relatives, friends and colleagues who attended her funeral. A special thank you to the Management and care staff of Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge, for their wonderful care of Mam during her time there, a place she called home. We would like to express our appreciation to Michael and his team at Cunninghams Funeral Directors. Their kindness and professionalism was superb. Ethna was first and foremost a lady - a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother - the end of an era! Remembering our Dad Des whose Seventeenth Anniversary occurs on March 28. We trust this Acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our gratitude.Those we love don't go away
