JENNINGS, Vincent (Carrickmines) - November 24, 2010 (peacefully), surrounded by his family and in the thoughtful care of the medical staff of Cedar Ward, St. Vincent's Private Hospital; adored husband and best friend of Mary, much loved father of Melissa and Ian and loving granddad to Eoghan, Oisin and Pearce. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by them, his daughter-in-law Aoife, his brother and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at his home today (Thursday) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass and burial afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Holy Cross Church, Tramore (arriving 3 o'clock approx). Family flowers only please. Donations if wished in memory of Vincent to Nursing Education, St. Vincent's Private Hospital."The day thou gave Lord, has ended"

<p>Fond memories</p> <p>I remember Vincent Jennings as a kind and thoughtful editor of the Sunday Press who helped advise and guide me - as a rookie journalist and contributor. He was a very thoughtful man. The world (and I am sure his family) is poorer without him. Fond memories from London.</p>
