DOWNEY-ENNIS (Brompton Grove, Castleknock and late of Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford) - January 27, 2014 (peacefully), at home, after a long illness bravely borne. Kay, beloved mother of Ross and Nicola. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, brother Paul (Killarney), sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at her residence today (Tuesday) from 3 o'clock, until 7 o'clock Removal to St. Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30 o'clock, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. House private on Wednesday morning please. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice. C/O Cunningham's Funeral Directors. Clonsilla Village, Dublin 15. Interment of ashes at Faha Church, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford on a date to be arranged.

DOWNEY-ENNIS, Kay (January 27, 2014) - Kay's family would sincerely like to thank the many people who sympathised with us on the loss of such a special person. It was a testament to her wonderful character just how many friends and neighbours rallied around her to offer support throughout her illness. It meant so much to us, as we know it did to her. The love she received was not only proof of her own goodness but of the loving kindness of those she gathered around her throughout her life. The generosity of so many people has been overwhelming and it would be impossible to mention everyone here but we hope that you accept this Acknowledgement as a small token of our lasting gratitude. Kay's First Anniversary Mass will be held at St. Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown on Sunday February 8th at 12 o'clock.

DOWNEY-ENNIS Kay (Second Anniversary) - The space you left behind can never be filled. Much loved and always remembered by Nicola, your family and all of your friends.
