WHAT A GRAND LADY

We shared some wonderful family times with Ann and Ger on several of their trips to MD to see Ann's brother Michael and his wife Jan.

Ann was always a ray of sunshine -- smiling, funny, her Irish eyes twinkling. And with her Irish accent, she was just absolutely charming.

One especially favorite visit was in the summer a few years ago. Ann and Ger were present for what we believe was their first MD crab feast --- crabs caught directly from the Magothy River just outside her brother's front door. By golly --ANN AND GER'S EYES GOT SO BIG!!! They couldn't believe we actually hand picked the steamed crab "meat" from these wierd looking critters, put it in our mouth, and then these crazy Marylanders drooled and made funny noises about how yummy the crabs were. For some reason, Ann kept asking for corned beef and potatoes. It was a hoot.

To Ger, Michael and the entire McHugh and Garahy Families, we extend our heartfelt condolences on Ann's passing. She fought the disease as best she could displaying such courage and strength. Now she is safely in God's Home with no more pain or suffering.

We will miss you very much dear Ann. Thank you for enhancing our lives with your love, caring ways, and laughter.

Love, JoAnn and Joe Lamp

Such a dear lady~

I was honoed to meet Ann and her husband in the states. I found her a wonderful lady and so easy to talk to. Ann has a place in my heart for the impact of who she was that instantly made me care. Her smile and sense of humor still makes me grin.

I was very sad to hear this news, especially for the ones left behind. Her great husband and siblings and whole family! I feel your sorrow and I know Ann will be very missed. As I said...I didn't get to know her well but I;m sure her place on earth touched many!

May she rest in peace and look down at all of us with her beautiful smile and see how happy she made others! God Bless you Ann! You are always going to make me smile at the thought of you~
