Husband of the late Elizabeth and Doris and loving father of Trevor, Melinda and Richard. Sadly missed by his sister Mabel, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great granddaughter and extended family. Reposing at Trevor's home today, Saturday with removal to St. John's Church, Kill tomorrow, Sunday for 2.00pm Funeral Service, followed by burial in Rathmore. <p>Ernie nearly the Ton up lap</p> <p>I had the pleasure to meet Ernie at his home in 2012 he signing a petrol tank from a Triumph Grand Prix motorcycle this I was going bring over for his 100th birthday. Early was also a guest of honour in 1996 at the Manx Grand Prix riders get together. The motorcycling community has lost a true hero and well living legend forever as the first person to win a race on the TT course after World War II at the 1946 Manx Grand Prix rest in peace George Ridgeon past president Manx Grand Prix riders Association.</p>
