Uniquely inspiring friend

Pat insisted we have dinner in Dalkey before he departed with James and Anita to this year's World Cup in Brazil. For 25 years we met regularly, to talk of art and soccer. I never figured out which was his greater passion. We have all lost a uniquely inspiring friend.
