GALLAGHER, Anne (née Balfe), Hazelwood, Galway, called by God on the Lord's birthday, Christmas Day. Peter, Joseph, Lizanne and Ronan and Anne's extended family would like to say how deeply grateful we are to those who attended our house and the funeral services and who sympathised with us and helped us since Anne's passing. To Bob and Liz for being there always. To Dr Macon Keane and his team for their gentle care during the years of Anne's illness; to Dr Dympna Waldron and the Palliative Care Team for their special gifts; to the nurses and staff of St Patricks and St Nicholas Wards, UCHG, for the love they showed Anne during her final three months; to the oncology staff in the Galway Clinic who were so kind to Anne; to Dr Donal Curtis for his years of friendship and support, we can never adequately express our gratitude. To Anne's wonderful friends from her Art course in GMIT, thank you for your love. To Joseph's, Lizanne's and Ronan's friends, teachers and colleagues who have been such a support - we thank God for your kindness. A sincere Thank You to Peter's friends from the Defence Forces, to all the colleagues, friends and neighbours for their thoughtfulness. To Fr Gerry Jennings, Salthill, we are so grateful for your gentle kindness and sincerity. Thank you Robbie Conneely and your colleagues in Conneely Funeral Directors for your support. Our thanks to John Ryan and the staff of the Ardilaun Hotel for looking after Anne's relatives and friends. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Anne's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21 at 11 o'clock in Christ the King Church, Salthill, and her ashes will be laid to their final rest in Mount St James Cemetery, Rahoon, afterwards. To live in hearts we leave
behind is not to die.
