MORAN, William, (Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Tramore, Co. Waterford) - April 29, 2013, at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin, Former: Principal of Holy Cross School, Tramore, Chairperson of Waterford City Branch INTO, secretary SFAI, founding member of Tramore AFC, Secretary and Chairperson of Edmund Rice Choral and Musical Society; sadly missed by his loving wife Berna O'Brien, girls Deirdre, Cáit and Brenda, son Hugh, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandson Dylan, loving brothers Seán, Stephen, Anthony, Dessie and Ray, sisters Ann, Maura and Christine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his many friends and former colleagues. Reposing at Maritana, Coolattin Gardens, Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow from 2pm - 9pm today (Wednesday), May 1st. Memorial service and cremation, 2pm tomorrow (Thursday), May 2nd, at Newland's Cross Crematorium, Dublin. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Hospice Foundation.
MORAN, William F. First Anniversary (July 18, 1946 - April 29, 2013), former Principal of The Holy Cross School, Tramore, Co. Waterford, resident of Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow. Berna (O'Brien), beloved wife of William, would like to thank most sincerely all those who showed sympathy and kindness to the family in their sad loss. To those who came to the wake at Shillelagh and the Humanist Funeral Ceremony at Newland's Cross, to those who sent cards, letters, emails, text messages, made phone calls, or called to see us during this past year, our heartfelt appreciation. A sincere thank you to the Board of Management, staff and children of the Holy Cross School who held a special celebration in commemoration of William's life and dedication to his profession. A special word of thanks to Professor Ronan O'Connell, Nurse Ann White and the wonderful team of doctors and nurses at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. A sincere thank you to Dr. Eoin Tiernan and the dedicated nurses and carers of the Palliative Care team at The Cara Ward, St. Vincent's Private Hospital where William died.For William
