LENOX-CONYNGHAM, Melosina (Lavistown, Kilkenny) - October 1, 2011, peacefully, after a long illness. Writer, traveller, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Funeral Service tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Canice's Cathedral, Kilkenny followed by burial in Ennisnag Churchyard, Co. Kilkenny.

<p>A rich and fulfilling life, well lived</p> I was so sorry to hear of the death of Melo. She added so much to the lives of all those who knew her, through her writing, her conversation and her company. I couldn't be at her funeral in St Canice's Cathedral this afternoon, But I'm sure it will have been a celebration of a rich and fulfilling life well lived.

<p>A rich and fulfilling lfe, well lived</p> Like so many others, I was sad to hear of the death of Melo. She added so much to the lives of others, through her writing, her conversation, and her company. Her knowledge of every aspect of life, with her unique perspective, was entertaining, enlightening and uplifting. I'm sorry that I could not be in St Canice's Cathedral this afternoon for her funeral service. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her or who knew of her through her work.
