sad news

Dear Margot, Charlie, Frank, Eddie and Marc- your dad was a great friend to me and indeed introduced me to Claire Hoban who became a fast pal. Now- both gone. May Charlie rest in peace. I am so sorry for your loss. Liz Mullan

Thinking of all the Lydons today

I have very fond memories of Charlie, from an early age, when he and Ann were courtin’, and came to baby-sit for us. He was funny and exciting, and he and Ann knew some great songs. I miss his warmth and spirit. I’m really sorry I can’t be in Westport today.

Our condolences

Our deepest sympathies to his family, relatives & friends.

Due to distance, we saw Charlie only rarely, but, on those occasions, he was always a gentle & entertaining man, sure to be sorely missed. We will rarely see his like again, sadly.

Being unable to attend the funeral, we will do the next best thing and hoist a glass in his memory.

Pat & Jimmy Mullan, in Toronto
