COLLINS (Malahide) - March 24, 2013 (suddenly) at home. Peadar; late of Teagasc. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, children Áine, Cathal and Sinéad, son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Breda, grandsons Daniel, Mark, Killian and Aaron, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Angela. RIP. Reposing at his home this (Monday) evening from 4.30pm to 8pm with Prayers at 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Dublin Airport for 11am Mass followed by Funeral to Swords Cemetery.
COLLINS Peadar, Seapark, Malahide, died March 24, 2013 - on the first anniversary of Peadar's death, we - his wife Mary (née Kenny), son Cathal, daughters Áine and Sinéad, son-in- law Peter, daughter-in-law Breda and grandchildren together with Peadar's brothers Padraic (Paddy), Eamonn and Seosamh (Fr. Laurence O.P.), sisters Máire (Colleran) and Sinéad and extended family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on Peadar's sudden death. We are very grateful to all who called to our home, where Peadar reposed, attended the funeral, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes, all of which gave us great comfort during that difficult time. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us. Sincere thanks to his G.P. Dr. Valerie Flood, who was so helpful to us on the occasion of Peadar's sudden death. We would like to thank Prof. David Foley, Dr. Richard Sheahan and Dr. Philip Murphy and their Teams of doctors and nurses in Beaumont Hospital, for their care and kindness to Peadar over the years, especially those in Corrigan ward and Coleman K. Byrne Unit. We would also like to thank the Dublin Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service for their professionalism. Sincere thanks to Peadar's former colleagues from Teagasc whose attendance we greatly appreciated and to Peadar's brother Seosamh who concelebrated the Mass with Father Des Doyle at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Dublin Airport, where Peadar attended Mass every week. Thanks to Rocks Funeral Directors, Swords for their caring and professional service. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
