SHIRRAN (Woodlands Naas, Co. Kildare and late G.G.S. I.), Andrew J., dearly loved husband to Nuala and loving dad to Fiona, Jennifer and Aoife; deeply regretted by his loving wife and daughters, grandchildren, Conor and Sophie sister Sadie, sons-in-law William and Nick, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his home tomorrow (Saturday). Removal on Saturday evening at 7 pm to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas for 7.30.pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 o'clock Burial afterwards in St. Corban's Cemetery, Naas. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul Society, donation box in Church.
SHIRRAN Andrew J. (Woodlands, Naas, Co. Kildare) died February 7, 2013 - On this the First Anniversary of Andy's death, Nuala, Fiona, Jennifer, Aoife and his sister Sadie would like to thank all who supported them on their sad loss. Heartfelt thanks to those who spent time with Andy during his illness and kept him in their prayers and to Fr. John Brickley who was so generous with his time. We are very grateful for the care given to Andy by Dr. Jane Murphy, Guinness Medical Department and all in St. James's Hospital. We appreciate all those who called to the house and attended the funeral Services, also those who donated to St. Vincent de Paul. Thank you to Fr. John and all the priests who concelebrated the funeral Mass. We would also like to thank Clane Musical Society, Kathleen Lambe, Josie Byrne and Brian Brady whose participation at the Service added so much to the liturgy. We would like to acknowledge the then Mayor Willie Callaghan, Naas Town Council and Kildare members of Fine Gael, who provided the guard of honour. Thanks to Naas GardaĆ for their support. Andy will be remembered at his Anniversary Mass on Saturday February 15th at 11am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas.
